Hi Listners

Hope you are all enjoying the wonderful Summer so far !!

First of all Slap on the wrist for me! I have been so busy I have not had time to update the blog for several weeks. Hope you have all been enjoying the show.

Last weekend saw the annual event the Strawberry Fair take place on the  Shenfield Common, this year the fair was themed to coincide with the Queens Diamond Jubilee. and although the weather of late has been a little poor to say the least, the rain stayed away for what turned out to be a pleasant day,

Along with the Phoenix FM team I was there on Compere Duties and I must say it was a fun filled day.

The line up included;

Opening of the event by the new mayor of Brentwood councillor; Ann Coe

 Rocky of Rocky`s fun house was first up  to entertain the kids and the grownups.

The Warwick Academy Cheerleaders performed a cheerleading Display

From 2 pm we had a Zumba display, this was a lot of fun, so much so that for those of you that were lucky enough to be there you would have seen me attempting the art of the Zumba Dance..Mmmmm  `Don`t give up your day job I hear you say`

Looking Good

The Essex Dance Theatre Group performed a dance display. A dance group of all ages but mostly aimed at young children, the display was a lot of fun
