Spring will eat itself.

Hallo all, thanks for tuning in and indeed popping back to read my little blog. This spring malarky is being odd, nice sunshine and now dreary rain…. It had me all confused.  We played the new and exclusive single from Tenek

As it is St Patricks Day, I played two from my current favourite Irish combo – Snow Patrol – we played ‘Caught out in the dark’ and ‘Chocolate’.

SNOW PATROL on 'Twofers'

My Comedy show picks for this week……

Michael McIntyre — Work In Progress – 19th, 22nd & 23rd Mar 2012 • Leicester Square Theatre

Michael McIntyre is one of the biggest names in comedy and his witty commentary on everyday life has made him a huge star. You can catch him testing new material, when he plays a “work in progress” show at the Leicester Square Theatre.

Tim Vine Chat Show 22nd Mar 2012 • Leicester Square Theatre

Tim Vine, the king of the one-liner, will be inviting the audience into his very own chat show! As guests are plucked from the crowd, he could be cracking gags about Martin from the rug shop one minute, and Lydia the next.

Marcus Brigstocke, at the Comedy Store – 25th Mar 2012 • Comedy Store

Marcus Brigstocke will be joining the Comedy Store Players for a night of comedy improvisation. Other comedians on the bill include Josie Lawrence, Neil Mullarkey, Andy Smart, Ian Coppinger and Stephen Frost.

Live music pick for this week;

Mon 19 Mar

Spiritualized – Hackney Empire, London

Space-rock indie group fronted by the enigmatic singer Jason Pierce

Thu 22 Mar

The Shins – HMV Forum, London

Indie four-piece from Portland draw their pop influences from the Beach Boys with a sprinkling of country and folk.

Fri 23 Mar

Enter Shikari – HMV Hammersmith Apollo, London

A hardcore metal punk act from St Albans with a fiercely independent attitude to music.

Fri 23 Mar

Pop Will Eat Itself – Electric Ballroom, London

Principal PWEI songwriter Graham Crabb revives the indie band 25 years after the release of their first EP.
