And finally it was upon us, the very first 33RPM night! Taking place at The Royal Hotel, Southend-on-sea, we were treated to some stunning live performances from Molly Christian, Mike Summers featuring Jai The Bard and last but by no means least, The Emotion Signal (pictured above). Since becoming a presenter on Phoenix I’ve been wanting to put on some events to support the station and to showcase some exceptional local talent. And to see it all come to fruition was a dream come true.
A big thank you to all involved who gave up their time to make this event happen, the artists that played, everyone who came, The Royal for letting us use their superb venue and anyone else I’ve forgotten.
