Your Lips Are Red…My Face Is Red From Reading Your Red Lips = 04/03/12

After a week off to catch the quite frankly mindblowing St Vincent live in concert I returned to the studio this week armed with an arsenal of great music.
There were plenty of new tracks from some forthcoming and new releases including Graham Coxon, School Of Seven Bells, the fantastic new Andrew Bird album, Julia Holter, Tennis, Field Music and Bruce Springsteen. And if that wasn’t enough I played a new track from the new Sun Kil Moon album which is due to be released in May. If the new track is anything to go by it is going to be a contender for album of the year!
More and more of this years festival line-ups are being announced so we had a look through what has been announced so far, one of the highlights for me was definitely the news that Grandaddy!!!!!! are reforming this year and will be one of the headliners at End Of The Road festival (https://www.endoftheroadfestival.com), with Latitude still to be announced that looks like one of the best line-ups of the year.
To round things off nicely, a few tracks from some of the other albums I’d listened to this week.
No show from me next week as I’ll be at another live concert seeing Earth / Mount Eerie / O Paon. See you in two weeks.
