12 new celebrity’s entered the famous Big Brother house this week with one house mate having to do a secret task already!
The celebs who will now be living in the house for 3 weeks are former EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy, Michael Madsen who is well known for being in Reservoir Dogs, Dancer Andrew Stone, Playboy twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, X Factor contestant Frankie Cocozza, Former rugby player Gareth Thomas, Glamour model Nicola McLean, The Only Way Is Essex star Kirk Norcross, Lingerie model Georgia Salpa, Natasha Giggs – who is most famous for having an affair with her brother-in-law Ryan Giggs, So Solid Crew member Romeo and Loose Women presenter Denise Welch.
Natalie was the first to go into the house meaning she was the one given the task. She had an ear piece in which Big Brother used to communicate with her, telling her to say certain things to certain housemates. If she didn’t do it then the stars might not have got thier suitcases. Dancing on Ice
There has been some changes on this year’s Dancing on Ice including two new judges, who will replace former judges, ex spice girl Emma Bunton and Jason Gardiner. The new judges are Louie Spence and Katarina Witt.
Taling about Dancing on Ice, Louie has said: “I’m looking forward to being part of such a challenging and spectacular show and I can’t wait to give my encouragement and critique on the contestants’ dance and performance on the ice.”
Also Christine Bleakley will take Holly Willoughby’s place and stand alongside Phillip Schofield to present the show. The 15 celeb contestants for this year’s Dancing on Ice are Actress Jennifer Ellison, Hollywood actor Corey Feldman, Sugababe Heidi Range, EastEnders actress Laila Morse, who plays Big Mo Slater, Coronation Street’s Andy Whyment, who plays Kirk, Hollyoaks’ Jorgie Porter, Fitness guru Rosemary Conley, TV presenter Sam Nixon, TV presenter Mark Rhodes, Skier Chemmy Alcott, Blue Peter presenter Andy Akinwolere, Dallas actress Charlene Tilton, Free runner Sebastien Foucan and Emmerdale actor Matthew Wolfenden.
Even though the show doesn’t start until the 8th of January there has been some problems already. Singer Chesney Hawkes has had an accident while practising for the show, therefore he will be replaced with X Factor star Chico.
Chesney fell on the ice spraining his ankle and fracturing a bone, he explains his disappointment of not being able to take part in the show by saying : “I was having a brilliant time and couldn’t wait to finally be skating live on national TV. It wasn’t even a spectacular fall, it was a slight stumble as I practised with my skating partner.
“I think my children are the most disappointed, they were so excited at the prospect of watching me skate. I’m determined to be back on the ice, I might not be able to appear in this series but hoping I will be able to appear in the show next year.”
Chico is also disappointed for him as he says “I’m delighted that I’m in but very, very disappointed for Chesney. Hopefully I can fill those boots of his, because he was looking fantastic on the ice.”
Chico added: “I haven’t done any (skating) for the last two-and-a-half weeks I’m really a little bit apprehensive, because it’s kind of like, ‘Oh my God, it’s here’. I didn’t think I was going to be in.”
Britain’s Got Talent
Ex Mis-Teeq turned solo singer Alesha Dixon has been a judge on Strictly Come Dancing for the past few series but now she will be hopping channels and become a judge on Britain’s Got Talent.
It has been reported she will be paid over double what she was paid when on Strictly, getting £350,000.
The prize money has also doubled from last year and is £500,00 half of that being from and Simon Cowell who of course runs the talent show.
As well as the money he has pulled out all the stops to make sure he has the right judges and joining Alesha will be comedian David Williams, actress Amanda Holden and Simon himself will return to the panel.
When Alesha talked about the reason she accepted Simon’s offer She said: “Music is my great passion and the reason for the other incredible opportunities that have come my way and I am looking forward to getting back into the studio and focusing on making a new record in 2012.”
Amanda showed she is happy that she will have a fellow female judge when she tweeted “Thrilled I can finally comment! Love the new line up of BGT! I plan to have a lot of fun and finally get an ali in the gorgeous Alesha!”
Also talking about becoming a juge David Williams joked “I am so thrilled to be the new Cheryl Cole.”
Britain’s Got Talent first audition is in London on January 22, with the new series hitting our TV screens in the spring.
