Last night I experienced something amazing… it was a baby shower. Never been to one before and I doubt if I will ever go to one that will
top last nights. 2am I got in! It was a fabulous funny evening, loads of presents and a chance to catch up with my friend and 2 SHOES X FACTOR
CONTESTANTS Charley Bird and Lucy Texeira(who Charley failed to tell me worked in the perfume shop about 200 yards from Phoenix FMs front door!).
The girls are going from strength to strength since the X Factor TV appearance with numerous stints on THIS MORNING, singing all over the country, hosting awards ceremonies and switching the Christmas Lights on in ROMFORD! Watching them both last night,
they really are as you see them on the television, just really lovely girls who are always professional, turn up on time and do what they say they can do, which is to sing beautifully, besides being hilariously funny. Finishing off each other’s sentences and shortening words emosh,
hilar…
I don’t think we’ve had the chance to really hear them sing on X FACTOR. These two girls have worked all the clubs, pubs and bars, they have all the ground work and trust me they both have super voices. I was lucky enough to spend the last 2 years singing with Charley in her own originals band. I even did a stand
in stint for Lucy at a gig in Kent. It was bloody hard work and the man who booked 2 SHOES said to me, “with the best will in the world love you aint the girl on the poster” I said “no REALLLLLLLY!”. Charley and I did have fun and we saw a flying saucer on the drive back along the A2.
Seriously!

I missed out on getting a fairy cake from the buffet but made up for it with five sausage rolls and some chocolate!
