The Ingrave Market, ‘NothinButSnow’, the Brentwood Tweetup and more

Monday 3rd October

The Ingrave Community Market – I attended on Sunday and this is a local market held in the Knightsway Centre, Knightsway on the Eastham Estate just off of the Ingrave Road here in Brentwood. Local businesses often run from home come together on the first Sunday of every month from 9.30 – 12.30. I was there meeting other stall holders, asking them into Phoenix and selling my nutritional cakes. For more information click on the links below!

Tuesday 4th

Wednesday 5th

Guest – Sam Mocock came in to talk about starting a business with his cousin Lee, where it all began, what he studied at school and more excellent information for anyone interested in Skiing or Snowboarding. Interview with Nothin But Snow

ME – Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and my very own Spicy Venison and Bean Chilli recipe.

Thursday 6th

Guest – Keith Brown from the FSB came in to talk about local business news and other news that is local to Brentwood and Billericay. Keith will be joining me again next Thursday at 5 o’clock.

Flat Feet – I always hear of many people suffering and experiencing ankle, knee and hip problems. The majority of people of which have flat feet or fallen arches and this contributes to their pain and the way they mobilise. I explained what this is, why it happens and what foot exercises you can do for it.

Brentwood Tweetup –  I mentioned who I saw at the event which is held at The Eagle and Child, Shenfield Road on the first Wednesday of the month at 7-9pm. Members of the community, professionals and business owners meet together to get to know the people behind the tweets of those they are following or might be following them! Brilliant opportunity to meet more people in the community and not be one of those people always hiding behind a computer to network and socialise! Find me on twitter Gabriella Clarke @mindful2move and join the tweetup @brentwoodtwtup

Also spoke about concerns over local schools and entry requirements.

Friday 7th

Guest – Local young lady Sophie Harvey came into talk about studying Speech and Language Therapy at Essex University, living at home and commuting to University, the pros and cons of living at home whilst completing a degree, the rise in her tuition fees and part time job in Brentwood. Sophie shared her experience of letting me practice my Hypnotherapy skills on her that I am learning on my course which I am studying at Writtle College.

Also shared a recent study of nurses that suggests that those who sat down for approximately 6 hours a day were more likely to suffer a fatal blood clot that those that chose to be more active in their spare time which raises the question – Is sitting the new smoking? Chocolate milk aids recovery after exercise and people have concerns over traffic and parking in Brentwood.
