Lee Hurst is a comic legend – perhaps most famous for his work alongside Nick Hancock, Gary Lineker and Rory McGrath on BBC sports quiz ‘They Think It’s All Over’.

Tom caught up with Lee as he plans to set out on his new tour, Man V Women, following a 10 year pause from touring where he, and I quote, spent his time ‘catching Bin Laden’.

Despite now being asked for fiscal advice from President Obama, Lee spared Phoenix some time to talk about his new show, Tom’s rows over tiger bread, his (soon to be) new comedy club in Bethnal Green and the old They Think It’s All Over gang.

For further information on his tour please head to his website www.leehurst.com – Lee’s playing 3 gigs in Essex, including Basildon’s Towngate Theatre, on the 18 September (Tickets are £15).

What a lovely chap Lee is.
