Sexiest Sci-Fi Star
Hugh Jackman has been voted sexiest actor in Science Fiction. Former Doctor Who star Tennant came second, and third was John Barrowman for his role in Torchwood. Johnny Depp came fourth for his movie Edward Scissorhands, while Harrison Ford was fifth for his role his as Han Solo in the Star Wars films.
There was also a poll for the sexiest actress and being voted number one was Sarah Michelle Gellar for playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer and second was Star Trek actress Jeri Ryan.
Hugh Jackson may be most known for his role as mutant, Wovlerine/Logan in the film with the same name and X-Men. The is currently being a scrpit written for a sequel of Wolverine called ‘The Wolverine’, filming was meant to start this year however because of numerous reasons filming has been delayed until spring 2012. The reasons for this are firstly, director James Mangold has decided he wants the script to be changed, Hugh Jackman is currently playing a part in Tom Hooper’s new version of ‘Les Miserables’ and because the film was going to be set in Japan, the weather Japan has been having has delayed filming too.
However Hugh is already back on the diet and fitness regime required for him to bulk up to play the muscular character he explains “I’ve literally just started. I’m taking the next two months off, pretty much, because it’s a full time job, putting on a size. I’m a naturally skinny guy – genetics are not on my side with this thing – so I have to eat like a horse.”
And that is why he was voted the sexiest sci-fi star!
Olly’s Hat’s
Essex singer and X factor runner up Olly Murs is well known for his wide range of hats. Whenever he is on TV we often see him wearing one and he has said he hopes to have his own range one day. He has been quite surprized with the lack of interest’s by brands, he said “I haven’t been approached by a hat company, which is weird because I’m always getting hats thrown at me. I would love to get into it,”
However he has managed to sell a few on tour, he explains saying “We did have some hats on tour. The trilby had an Olly badge on the side and they sold well,” before adding “I’d like to get big companies on board like Selfridges, but I’d only do hats that I’d design.”
Olly may not be a stlye icon yet, but he seems to look up to Liam Gallagher for his fashion sense “Liam’s got it spot on. I wear his Pretty Green label all the time.”
Britney’s Birthday
Even though her birthday isn’t until the 2nd of December Pop star Britney Spears is already making party plans. She will be turning 30 and wants it to be ‘spectactular’. Britney will be in South America as part of her Femme Fatale tour as she explains “I’m really excited and will definitely do something ‘spectacular’.
“I’m going to be in South America so I’ll have to do something pretty fun. A carnival of Britney? I don’t think I’ll be doing that! It’ll be something a little more low-key.”
She also explained she is looking forward to the next decade of her life by saying “I think the older you get, the wiser you get. I can’t wait.”
Beyonce is Pregnant
I think we all know by now that the one and only bootlicous Beyonce is pregnant! She revealed the news on the red carpet at the 2011 MTV VMA’s on the 28th August saying to the photographers “I have a surprise for you!” before holding her belly and showing off her baby bump.
Later on that night she still gave a very energetic performance at the VMA’S after which she opened up her jacket and rubbed her baby bump. The baby’s father and husband of Beyonce, Jay Z was beaming as Kanye west, patted him on the back and shook him.
Mum to be has recently hinted this month that she was ready for children saying ‘When you’re young – 18 or 19 – you have the energy and drive. That’s the time to work as hard as you can,’
Now I’m a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage.
‘I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children.’

Labrinth Stays in UK
UK singer and producer Labrinth has recently said he has turned down “millions” of offers to work in the US.Though he knows how big artists can get if they crack America he wants to focus on the UK.
Tinie Tempah is one artist who has made it in the us and we all know Labrinth has worked with Tinie quite a lot producing songs such as ‘Passout’ as well as a new single coming out soon called ‘Earthquake’.
Labrinth has explained: “America is a big part of this industry but the UK is where it’s at. I’ve had millions of offers [from the States] but I’ve been busy working on my own album.”
“It’s amazing to see what the urban scene is doing over here. It’s very cool and in at the moment. Tinie and Ed Sheeran are doing their thing. They are both great. I’ve seen Tinie go from UK to America and the numbers [on YouTube and sales] change instantly.”
Labrinth has also turned down opportunities to work with big America stars such as Nicki Minaj and Beyonce.
He could be hiding real reasons why he doesn’t quite want to go to America yet saying “You don’t want to be a small fish in a big pond but the rewards are huge.” Maybe he doesn’t feel quite ready to be with the big fish yet?
However he admitted “I do want to go to America but it’s very important people know where we are from. A lot of artists have gone to America and been slated.”
As well as his new single coming out soon he has also been working on the new Children In Need charity single called ‘Teardrop’. It features Tulisa N-dubz, Ed Sheeran, Wretch 32 and a few others.
