The gold that is MAY and its extra holidays

After the large amount bank holiday days off we now hold our breath for a few more weeks for another…well I will be. Having said that the joy of the warm spring wether is a well come distraction and inspiring for today music program today.

Ex-Catatonia lead singer, Cerys Matthews, left the band in 2001 reportedly due to exhaustion and anxiety. Prior to her departure the band had hits with ‘Road Rage’ and ‘Mulder And Scully’ taken from the number one album ‘International Velvet’.

A three-piece indie band from St Albans whose explosive funk aesthetic has set off fireworks in the British indie scene

Glasvegas – HMV Forum,

Vintage Glasgow guitar band whose moody pop sound is heavily influenced by Detroit Motown records and Elvis Presley.

Wed 11/ 12/14/15 May

Roger Waters – The O2, London

The legendary Pink Floyd guitarist performs ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’ as well as other classic songs from his personal back catalogue.
