Curveballs May 4th 2011 (with The Vanity Clause)

The Vanity Clause (l-r): Emma (synth/backing vocals), Lou (lead vocals), Darren (synth).

Tonight I was joined in the studio by Southend’s The Vanity Clause. Originally formed a few years back under a different line-up, the band (also featuring Russ on programming) released their debut album Fractured at the end of last year, which can be ordered from their website www.thevanityclause.com. The foursome have a busy summer of playing live ahead of them, starting off at The Good Ship in Kilburn on May 10th, The Workshop in Old Street on May 12th, before supporting Erasure’s Andy Bell at The Queen of Hoxton on May 13th. The band can also be found on Facebook and Myspace.
