Im back, standing in for Emma for a couple of days. We looked through today’s national newspapers which included a Gloucester student who won China’s answer to the X Factor, A real-life version of the computer game Farmville is coming to the UK courtesy of the National Trust, The Apprentice and a Royal Tree. Its also the release of this weeks Gazette ‘Royal Wedding Edition’ today, so we had a look through all the latest local news stories which of course included photos and stories of street parties in the local area in celebration of the Wedding, a Brentwood marathon man who dragged his exhausted body across more than 150 miles of the Sahara Desert and also the thoughts of Brentwood people on the topic of food recycling. Does it make environmental sense? Or is it too smelly and unhygienic? Nan has her say in this weeks Gazette.
A special showbiz news today. Twilight star Robert Pattinson (aka R-Patz) was greeted by hordes of screaming fans last night as he attended the London premiere of his new film.
He was accompanied by Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz, his co-stars in Water for Elephants – a story set in a travelling circus. And we had a special report direct from the Red Carpet last night.
