Last week on the Commentary Box we spoke to Keith Woodcock, breaking the news that both Julian Dicks and John Moncur will be at the St Georges Day match at the Brentwood Arena against Cheshunt. Gates open tomorrow at midday with the fun starting at 12.15.
The fixture is in aid of Help For Heroes. The Mayor of Brentwood Cllr David Tee will be there, as will The Romford Drum and Trumpet Corps Marching Band performing on the pitch. Tune in to the Commentary Box tonight for more news on the fixture and a recap on the auction lots including an England shirt and FA pennant signed by Sir Trevor Brooking and 2x season tickets for Brentwood Town’s campaign next year.
In last week’s show we also covered an exciting night in Super League and the Football League with both Southend and Norwich winning. We also previewed an exciting weekend of sport at the time of year when cricket and football feature heavily.
We looked ahead to the Chinese Grand Prix, arguably one of the most exciting Grand Prix races in recent history.
