We would learn over the coming days the gravity of the death toll, and how the problems with Fukushima nuclear plant would provide the ongoing concern. We also celebrated the glittering career of T-Rex with a chat with the lead singer from leading tribute group T-Rextasy: Danielz. The front man told us why he loves getting on stage every night singing the songs of his idol Marc Bolan.

Live at five, LTK came into the studio with a style probably best linked to Linkin Park – I was especially impressed with their cover of Black Eyed Peas’s I Gotta Feeling. Another good showing on the Name That Tune Challenge with 17.5 out of 20 meaning they were just shy of the top spot.
