Drive – Mark Reed, David Tee & Mike Jones

On today’s show the Brentwood Theatre’s Mark Reed joined me as he always does live at five. [audio:https://www.phoenixfm.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Mark-Reed-Brentwood-Theatre-02-28th-Feb.mp3|titles=Mark Reed – Brentwood Theatre 02-28th Feb]

I also had the pleasure of chatting with the Mayor of Brentwood, Cllr David Tee. He spoke about enjoying a well earned rest when he passes the mantle of Mayor over to his successor in a couple of months’ time, and going out with a bang with his end of year party at De Rougemount Manor on 14th May. It will be one final push for his three chosen charities, namely SNAP, Hopefield Animal Sanctuary & Brentwood and District Talking Newspaper. Tickets for the event to include a three course dinner are priced at £40. If you book before the end of March you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win overnight accommodation including breakfast. Call Claire Hayden on 01277 312741 for details. [audio:https://www.phoenixfm.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Cllr-David-Tee-Warley.mp3|titles=Cllr David Tee]

‘The Voice’ aka Mike Jones was also on hand for a round-up of local sporting action in the local area. [audio:https://www.phoenixfm.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Mike-Jones-Sports-Report-02-28th-Feb.mp3|titles=Mike Jones – Sports Report 02-28th Feb]
