This year that was …

1980! As is the norm I kick off with something slow. So today we went for Barbara SteIsand’s woman in love. A really great track. With begining of the 80’s we had to have the good old disco tracks coming out again. George Benson, Michael Jackson, Lipps Inc. How can you not want to get up and dance to those.

Being a bit of a rocker at heart I thoguth we should have something with a bit of kick to it. Motorhead’s Ace of Spades that still this day gets used in ads and backing music will be one of those classics that will live for ever along with AC/DC Back to black. This also used for many ads and backing to films and TV.
Barbra Steeisand – Woman In Love
Detroit Spinners – Working my way back to you
Kenny Rogers – Coward of the county
John Lennon- Just Like starting over
David Bowie- Ashes to Ashes
Kate Bush – Babooshka
ELO & Olivia Newton John – Xanadu
Blues Brothers – Everybody Needs Somebody
Suicide Is Painless
Motorhead_-_Ace of Spades
AC/DC – Back in Black
Queen – Crazy little thing called Love
The Police – Don’t stand so close to me
Blondie – Atomic
Dexy’s midnight runners – Geno
Paul McCartney – Coming Up
Abba – Super Trouper
Lipps Inc – Funky Town
Kelly Marie – Feels like im in love
Michael Jackson – Rock with you
George Benson – Give me the night
Stevie Wonder – Master Blaster
The Specials – Message for you Rudy
The Pretenders- Brass In Pocket
Joy Division – Love Will Tear Us Apart
Irene Cara – Fame

Next Sunday we will be diving into the 1990’s. But where we stop I really don’t know.
